Goals for Life

Murow|CM is a part of the Touchdown Sponsors for the annual fundraiser event. Steve Murow is the chairman of the Board of Directors of Goals For Life, an educational youth development program that, in coordination with local school districts, teaches potentially at-risk youth the skills and strategies that are necessary for success in life.  Goals For Life has a team of former professional football players who have been carefully trained to deliver a detailed 24 week curriculum in public schools.

ASU Foundation

Steve Murow is a 10 year member of the Family Associate Board of Directors. The ASU Foundation is a private, nonprofit organization that raises and invests private contributions to Arizona State University. It is one of Arizona’s oldest nonprofits. It coordinates and directs all major fundraising campaigns on behalf of ASU, its colleges and schools and manages private assets. The foundation also serves as the university’s entrepreneurial arm in technology commercialization, real estate investment and other emerging initiatives.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.

St. Joseph Hospital

St. Joseph Hospital is a values-based Catholic health care provider with a tradition of and commitment to excellence, based on the vision of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. The hospital’s strong belief in the intrinsic dignity of each person commits it to be a just employer to its 3,800 employees; to provide healthcare for the whole person, body, mind and spirit; and to collaborate with the 1,000-member medical staff and other health care providers to increase access to quality health care.

The YMCA

The Y is a nonprofit like no other. That’s because in 10,000 neighborhoods across the nation, we have the presence and partnerships to not just promise, but deliver positive change. The Y knows that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That’s why at the Y, strengthening community is our cause.  Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

City of Hope

City of Hope is a world leader in the research and treatment of cancer, diabetes, and other serious diseases. We deliver scientific miracles that make lives whole again. Compassion is the heart of our approach and the driving force behind all our discoveries. Founded in 1913, City of Hope is one of only 45 comprehensive cancer centers in the nation, as designated by the National Cancer Institute.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts

Segerstrom Center for the Arts believes in the power of performing arts to transform lives and that the shared experience and exploration of the arts will help unite Orange County, creating a more culturally connected and vital community.  We will help shape the Orange County of the future through meaningful collaborations with diverse communities, embracing creativity in all its forms and enabling a more inclusive, vibrant performing arts scene at The Center and across the region.

CHOC Children’s

Since 1964, CHOC Children’s has been steadfastly committed to providing the highest quality medical care to children. Affiliated with the University of California, Irvine, our regional pediatric healthcare network includes a state-of-the-art 279-bed main hospital facility in the City of Orange, and a hospital-within-a-hospital in Mission Viejo. CHOC also offers many primary and specialty care clinics, more than 100 additional programs and services, a pediatric residency program, and four centers of excellence – The CHOC Children’s Heart, Neuroscience, Orthopaedic and Hyundai Cancer Institutes.

Village of Volunteers

Village Volunteers (VV) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works in partnership with rural village and capacity-building programs to support the development of sustainable solutions to community challenges. Murow|CM supports the Bernard and Elsie Weiss Dago (Kenya) Scholarship Fund.

Make a Wish Foundation

Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors and supporters advance the Make-A-Wish®vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 37 minutes. We believe a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us and inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.

Autism Speaks

Autism Speaks was founded in February 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of a child with autism. Their longtime friend Bernie Marcus donated $25 million to help financially launch the organization. Since then, Autism Speaks has grown into the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. We are proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish and look forward to continued successes in the years ahead.

Arthritis Foundation

The Arthritis Foundation is the Champion of Yes. Leading the fight for the arthritis community, the Arthritis Foundation helps conquer everyday battles through life-changing information and resources, access to optimal care, advancements in science and community connections. They help chart a winning course, guiding families in developing personalized plans for living a full life – and making each day another stride towards a cure. The Arthritis Foundation leads the way in: Access and Advocacy – On Capitol Hill and Beyond; Scientific Discovery – For Better Treatments and Cure; Help and Support – When and Where People Need It; Juvenile Arthritis – Support for Families; Community and Connections – Making a Difference. Arthritis Today, published by the Arthritis Foundation is an award-winning magazine that reaches 4.2 million readers.

HomeAid Orange County

HomeAid Orange County was created in 1989 by the Building Industry Association of Southern California, Orange County Chapter. HomeAid is the only community based organization that has successfully completed 60 building and renovating development projects throughout Orange County, as well as across the entire homeless Continuum of Care spectrum, providing facilities that range from emergency shelters, to transitional/bridge housing, to permanent supportive housing. These projects have successfully transformed over 60,000 lives in this time.
