Thursday, October 5th, MurowlCM’s Philip Shehade and Erica Passavanti participated in the 22nd Annual BIA OC Food + Wine Event, ‘A Taste of Excellence.’ An evening of fine wines and gourmet fare, benefiting the Building Industry Technology Academy (BITA). Erica, who also serves on the wine event committee said, “The event is a fun way to support the future leaders of our industry, while networking with friends and colleagues.”
All proceeds from the event went to support BITA, a program that encourages students to pursue careers in our labor force. BITA provides high school students with four-year building trades curriculum and helps them develop work ready skills and attitudes. BITA also advocates change in public perception of building trades work and workers. #givingback #networking
